Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Hi-de-hi.

I found this selection of Bezels on the 4D website while hunting for something else.

BEZELS LINK

They do 2.4, 2.8, 3.2, 3.5, 4.3, 5.0 and 7.0 inch sizes. I might have to look closely at these things, as cutting a neat hole for the TFT is always a problem - if you want to be neat, and I usually do.

They are reasonably priced. The 2.4-3.5 inch sizes are US$10, 4.3 and 5.0 inch are US$13 and the 7.0 inch one is US$15.

Yes, I expect they are made for the 4D screens, but there is no reason why you could not adapt them to suit the same size LCD's used on the MM. I am thinking of getting a few different sizes to experiment with.

There is a Mechanical Drawing (page 6) in the Datasheet on their website. Unfortunately the size of the cutout for the LCD glass and the mounting points for the LCD PCB are not dimensioned - wouldn't be of interest if you were fitting a 4D display to the bezel but would have been helpful in determining whether a non-4D display might fit.
