Wondering if any other users are noticing an issue with Diptrace (or other applications) where it is sleeping for a couple of seconds each minute. I have checked on some of my PC's both the i7 desktops with windows 10 both have this annoying issue but one of my laptops running win 10 does not. I have trawled the net and have found references to SSD causing the issue and have followed the suggestions to fix it without success. One i7 has a Samsung SSD, the second i7 has a Kingston SSD and the laptop has a WD SSD so I am not convinced the SSD is the issue. I am thinking it may be associated with the May windows 10 updates that have infected the desktops but not the laptop.

Any advice very much appreciated

I use Diptrace a lot, W10 professional OS, SSD drive, 12 GB ram; cannot say I have noticed any short term freezing of any applications.

Perhaps turn on Task Manager and leave it running, if the freezing continues see what apps are hogging the CPU cycles.

Cheers
Mike
