G'day all
Not really micro-related, but I found it interesting (it popped up on my 'recommended' list on Youtube...)

Chinese PCB manufacturing

Hope you enjoy

Amazing, there are some very smart people in this world to be able to design and build such machines.

Just curious: do you also pronounce the "L" in "would", "should", "could"?
Does "SOLDER" rhyme with "FOLDER", "OLDER', "BOLDER"?

Great video--thanks.

Ah, the Queen's English is a stange language.

I believe Mr Webster decided to add to the confusion with his American dictionary by changing alot of word spellings.

We won't mention US date formats, will we.

Didn't know that. At least we can probably agree that our PCBs aren't "welded", as some Chinese vendors say.

YES, YES, YES!!!!

This is something that has always kinda annoyed me about the way Americans pronounce the word. But then, now I am just nitpicking...

"You say potato, and I say potarto...." - that song I can't remember the name of

"You say ERBS and we say HERBS, because there's a %#^@ H in it..." - Eddie Izzard

No offence at all intended to any of our American members. I am sure they think the same way about how WE say some stuff.

Glad to see I'm not the only one that cringes at the 'sodder' term!
(It always makes me think of Victor Borge doing his "Inflationary Language" skit...)

It's interesting in the video how much manual works is still involved in PCB's, even though there's all that automated $zillion equipment.Edited by Malibu 2019-06-12

The difference is that here the "L" follows a "OU"

It's called "Let's Call The Whole Thing Off" - (Gershwin).

Just sayin'

Me: "You can't"
American: "You called me a what?!?!"
