My cut and paste of the spec for the chip seems to have contained something that the board rejected and killed the post. Can't remember what I wrote now Basically this chip is an opto-isolator with a halfbridge output capable of 2.5A source or sink. Perfect for isolating the uP from any higher voltage peripherals you want to drive. Motors, LEDs etc. |

Tsk, Tsk. This is why I always compose under Simplenote. I can start the post on my PC and finish later on my phone/tablet and the composition doesn't mysteriously vanish. But this is a find and perfect timing...many thanks, Pete |

Hi Mick, I totally missed the "I have bought some to have a play with" Had a look at the data sheet and picked up on the fact that they require bypass caps. Regards, Craig |
