I thought it better to ask this question here and not clutter that great CMM2 release thread with off topic posts.
 
The CMM2 implements Crunch before loading transparently when you type RUN and optimisation of variable handling, is there any chance that some of this will come across to the ARM H7 down the track?

Not the crunch because that relies on the fact that there is an SDcard and the "master" program is on that. The variable handling possibly.
