This is a question that may be too obvious but is there a current place where people can upload and download their Maximite software? I know that very few software titles exist for it so far but it would be great to see a thriving community build up over time. A single page with all the existing software listed in one place might be a decent start. I think CMM2 has the potential to be a breakthrough platform for some cool BASIC based software. ZX Spectrum Next might be stealing a lot of this thunder but CMM2 has a lower cost, is more widely available and is actually more capable thanks to its much faster CPU. Not sure if any other projects of prominence that boot to BASIC that have any software libraries of note so the market, so to speak is there (at least I hope it is). Thanks for the link. Took me a moment to realize what you all were linking to. The download link is in the top right corner of the page... Great I'll browse tonight to see what's already there. Would be nice however, to be able to have it somewhere a bit more prominent and maybe accessible individually? |

All the original "Zip file" code is in the main body of the library, but now in a manageable, searchable form. There are many more articles besides |

Sorry to sidetrack the thread, but can somebody explain what the ZX Spectrum Next is targeted at? I can only seem to find fragmented information - is it meant mostly for playing old Speccy games or to create new games and software? Also, does it have I/O pins like the CMM1/2? Thanks! |
