Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Can't do that for the CMM2--updates are coming hot and heavy as a result of lots of experienced developers coming up with needed tweaks or fixes or even features, and Peter being incredibly responsive.

Hi Pete,

That code fails for anything after Option 3.. I think it is to do with negative angles.

Maybe something changed in a later version of MMBasic, I am using 5.05.04

There is also an error in the Barnsley Fern by sasqatch.

Kind Regards

Mick

All of my little demo programs posted here should run on the 5.05.04 release version.  I'd be curious to know what error the Barnsley Fern code is giving you?

Barnsley Fern working fine for me. Thank you for posting these relatively simple (or at least, small) programs which produce such beautiful and intricate designs.

Sasquatch ... very well done, I like the turtle demos, and the fractal stuff.

If you are interested in fractal computer  art, the following book is an interesting read:

Julian Sprott - Strange Attractors

I bought a copy many years ago.  Has source code in various Basic PC dialects.  Sadly now out of print, but the full text, source code, etc. is at the above address.

Enjoy

for interest only, I have no connection to this book/author/publisher, just own a copy

Thanks Womble!  That looks like a great resource.  I'll have a better look at it when I have some time to play
