Would it be a good idea / possible to have LINE INPUT #nbr, PRINT #nbr and all their friends work with #nbr = 0 meaning read / write from the terminal ? i.e. the same as vanilla LINE INPUT and PRINT. This would be convenient and avoid an IF statement or two when writing programs where reading/writing both to files or the terminal are valid. Obviously not or I would have found out it already works ![]() Proof, if it were needed, that I spend too much time on the forum and not enough time on the CMM2 ... or my day job for that matter. Cheers, Tom MMBasic for Linux, Game*Mite, CMM2 Welcome Tape, Creaky old text adventures |
