Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

I've tracked down a hang I had sometimes been getting.
If I press page down in the file manager, and it can't go down a whole page, usually I can press "up" and the bottom line will be selected. But sometimes it will hang, and I can't quit with Ctrl-C or Escape.

I can avoid it by using Home and End to move to the bottom or top instead.

The hang seems to be if the folder or file path has a long name. I managed to reproduce it with something like:

mkdir "/longnamelkjshflkasjdhflksjhflaksjdhflakdhlaksjdhf"
files

Then going into the new folder and pressing page down. But I've also had it happen with shorter names if the directories are nested inside others.

edited to add: this is with version 5.05.05
