So on the PCB there is a hole thats marked reset button but the hole does not have a button in it. is that something the end user adds or is my board missing it? the picture on the website doesn't really show it good but it seems like there is a button in the picture. i need this reset button to be able to reflash the firmware? also my board appears to be loose before i opened it up i noticed the holes on the side where the reflash button is were not lined up properly. |

There is a bit of double-sided tape holding the pcb to the bottom of the case. Since some people take the box/board apart for various reasons, only a small amount of tape was used. The firmware reflash hole alignment is a known issue and is being addressed in production. There is a reset button behind the front panel hole. The reset key should have been taped to the top of the box. Hopefully the reset hole alignment isn't a new issue. Please try using the reset key with the unit powered up and let me know. The reset button works a lot like the type on some cell phones. It isn't a visible button, but a hole that you poke a paper clip into (or the supplied reset key). Reprogramming can be done by holding the firmware reflash button and powering the unit up. Console needs to be 115,200 baud. Make sure that the PC connection is not through a hub, as hubs typically don't provide enough power. Also laptops tend to be stingy about power. Micromites and Maximites! - Beginning Maximite |

Correct. That is behind the little reset hole on the front. ![]() Micromites and Maximites! - Beginning Maximite |

Probably. Most hubs now handle power well. There was a flood of poorly designed hubs early on, but most have improved. Micromites and Maximites! - Beginning Maximite |
