Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Hi,
because I'm already using many ESPs in my home, finally I would like to use it also inside (or on back) of my CMM2. But my question is, how to connect it? Serial (easy but slowest and problem with hardware handshake), I2C or SPI?
Has somebody here experience (mainly with last 2 methods)? I would like to use it as alternative to Serve on serial cable used now...

Haven't used it myself, but this ESP thread may be what you're looking for.

Hi lizby,
I have read the tread, but it is just about serial connection. That's OK (and maybe I will use it), but I was more interested about I2C and SPI, the serial communication without HW handshaking is not too nice and make it in SW is overhead that I won't use in my library...
