Hello! I know I am not the first who asked for this, but again: Is MicroMite.org Phone:(+44) 7388 347 822 295 Great West Road Hounslow, Middlesex. TW5 0DE UNITED KINGDOM Phone:(+44) 7388 347 822 still doing some bussines? I ordered on Sep.23 2020 and I also payed months ago but I got nothing. Meanwhile I sent two mails regarding may order but I got no response. Today I try to call the number that is published on the home page "www.MicroMite.org": Someone picket up and I said my name: the guy on the other end of the line hung up immediatly. Since then no one piced up the phone any more! I tried several times! For me it starts to look fraudulent. Regards from germany Peter |

Hi Peter, I have answered the phone three times (I assume it is your call that is the same as in your post). You were clearly able to here me but it was as if no one was there from my point of view - just pure silence. You can try calling again, or you can email me once again. I am attempting to to process as many orders as physically possible per day - and this has been the case for many months. As more emails and phone calls come in, the fewer I get processed each day. Email when you get a minute and I will respond within 12 hours. Please do check your Junk box too just in case! Rgds, Phil |

Hello Phil, thank you for your fast reply and nice that you are still alive! For me it was only important to know that I may get the MaxiMite somewhere in the future, I don't care when. No one really needs things like this - is only just for fun. But two and a half months is quite a long time and I started to think that you are sitting on Waikiki beach, drinking cocktails payed by me an the other guys who ordered something! ;-) Please take your time then, I will not going to mail or phone you again and I try to stay patient. Greetings from germany Peter (order #2805) |

Hi I ordered my Maximite from MicroMite.org as well. It was delivered 4 or 5 weeks later I think. It was also shipped to Germany. I contacted them two times. The first time I used the "contact us" option on their website and did not receive an answer. The other time a wrote an email and got an answer on the same day. How did you try to contact them? Maybe it is just an issue with the "contact us" option. The website seems to be pretty buggy. But I can tell you, they are not scammers, they are just a little bit slow. |

I think it is odd, that someone who ordered in September did not receive his order yet. I just checked and I ordered on november 7th and received it on december 10th. So how could mine be faster than yours? |

I ordered four items on 3 October and received the Colour Maximite 2 on 10 December so about 10 weeks....the web site said it would be a while so I'm happy to have it.... Here it is the 17th of Jan and I'm still waiting for the two Explore 28 Modules (assembled) and the MicroBridge Module (assembled). I even paid expedited shipping to Germany. It's a bit frustrating as I have asked for shipping status multiple times in emails and have heard nothing. I would think something ordered 14 weeks ago at least warrants a status update email. I have been patient... I also have a PS Labs unit and shipping was prompt and status was immediate... about one week from order to receipt from PS Labs. I would really like the Micromite.org items I paid for. V.R. Paul |

Greetings from Brexit: 2 weeks after receiving the CMM2, I received an additional customs payment of around 33 Euro. I ordered the device before Brexit and it was delivered afterwards. In the past all deliveries from England were duty free. Thank you, dear Englishmen. Future orders only in Europe (if possible) |

Pros and Cons I'm afraid PP My wife and I had our first Covid jab yesterday - so we are feeling just a little bit safer this morning and frankly have no regrets about Brexit. Micromite 'manufacturing' is a cottage industry (both here in UK and elsewhere) so when a popular MM product causes relatively high demand there are going to be supply issues. Cottage industries don't scale easily. Unfortunate but just the way it is given the circumstances. Regards, IanT |

According to geoffg.net the Maximite 2 is also sold from poland: https://sklep.pslabs.pl/Maximite-c91/s_lang/en. Maybe that is a future possibility for EU cititzens. Unfortunately I can only find the Deluxe version there. |

@PilotPirx, Normally with international invoicing, Micromite should not charge you the UK VAT value. If they did, you are entitled to a refund. (if they ever want to continue doing business in Europe) Done this a lot in the past, when importing stuff from the US or China : you don't pay the taxes of the country you are exporting from, you pay the taxes where you import into. (and that can be more than just VAT) Micromite.org is not alone in this, a lot of UK companies are not used to this yet , and make this mistake. But yes, when we Europeans want to buy something in the UK in the future we have to be aware of this. |

Micromite.org is not a vatable company so anyone who bought off them has not paid any VAT. By being non-vatable Micromite.org have to pay VAT on the goods they buy and can not re-claim it. Please get your facts correct before you start implying error |

The rules on customs payments are... various? confusing? painful? Yeah, all of those. John |
