hello and happy new year to all,

this is my first post and I also have a question right away

how do I determine the correct RGB values of the system palette in 8bit mode?
the MAP and PIXEL-function do not provide the correct values

Have a read through the first few chapters of The Graphics Programming Manual - that should answer your questions.

Thank you for your response, but I could not find what I was looking for in the manual. Maybe I didn't see it because English is not my native language  

But I found a way to replicate the system colors in my CLUT and created a small library with palette effects (fade in, fade out, grayscale). Works well on my system. Take a look
