Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

For TassyJim

I removed one of the monitors from an older PC with MMEdit on it & now have lost the Find/Replace box. I'm assuming that the PC/MMEdit thinks it is on the monitor that is not there. It comes up in the Task Bar OK.

Is there a simple way of getting it back onto the single monitor with the main program apart from reconnecting the other one & moving it across?

Thanks
Brian

Assuming MMEdit V4
In the data folder there is a file "mmedit4.inf"
data folder location can be found from Help/About

If you delete that file (with MMEdit shutdown), it will get recreated with the default settings.

If you don't want to loose all of your settings,
With MMEdit shut down, open the mmedit4.inf file with any text editor and find the section on locations
[Locations]
mainWinLoc                       = 1242 952 584 120 80
configWinLoc                     = 479 411 114 44
chatWinLoc                       = 812 783 1012 163 1 0
fileWinLoc                       = 763 652 601 90
HintWinLoc                       = 688 300 602 160
ReportWinLoc                     = 785 599 1003 185
FindWinLoc                       = 248 186 947 130 0 0

Delete the line "FindWinLoc"

restart MMEdit
