Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Nice Project! Right behind the PS/2 connector is a 1x4 header that you could use. Micromites and Maximites! - Beginning Maximite |

Tres retro :) These all-in-one case builds are great, but I think you'll eventually want to get the SD card slot routed to a convenient external location. I swap SD cards quite often, and popping the hood on the case every time would get annoying. I've seen micro-SD extenders to do this; I imagine there are variants for full-size SD cards as well. But, it feels like a cheap & reliable "standard" way to access files on the SD card wirelessly is right around the corner, so this could become a moot point. FYI, I screwed my CMM2 to a block of wood early on as a temporary mechanical solution, planning to do something like you did (with a gutted Apple //c case...) but I found the "naked" approach works well for just about everything, and now I even prefer the homebrew way it looks. Plus, I purchased a Raspberry Pi 400 around Christmas, which largely satisfied my desire for an all-in-one retro computer :) Happy Maximiting ! Enjoy Every Sandwich / Joe P. |

Thank you sir! I saw mention of it in the manual, will look in to it. Thanks! Thanks! I'll look into the sd card extenders. Denis Edited 2021-03-08 12:52 by Mindwarp |

Yes, that's the ticket :) Somewhat related, I keep reading about people here having all sorts of mechanical and electrical heartache while soldering their DIY SD card connection. Possibly, hacking a ribbon cable like this could offer some relief. Enjoy Every Sandwich / Joe P. |

I finally got the keyboard wired in, I messed up the ps2 holes so had to be creative on getting the kb connected but it works now! |
