Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

As it says really...

No battery fitted. Date & time setup always works, whether SD card is fitted or not.
Without SD card I see the Check Disk error, but not when it's installed.
Without SD card I can input normal commands & run a For/Next loop on a line.
Display is good, no problems there (at this stage anyway!).

SD cards (same problem with all of them):
4GB Transcend SDHC FAT32 blank
8GB Toshiba SDHC I class 10 FAT32 blank
8GB micro-SDHC I FAT32 blank in an adaptor

Soldering on SD card socket *looks* ok. There seems to be connection between the PCB pad and high up on all the socket connections along the back.

Anyone got any ideas?
Mick

Measure the 5V rail with and without the SCcard plugged in and if not solid 5V then try a different power supply.

Details of which version CMM2 would be helpful

Thanks very much. Peter. The supply was the problem. Swapped the supply and also found a shorter lead. Bang on 5V now and it seems to be working ok now. :)
