Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Hi,
I was recently looking for some small magnetic sensors and came across a Silicon Labs device, the SI7213 in SOT23. This chip comes in multiple variants, this particular part number supporting the SENT (Single Edge Nibble Transmission) protocol.
MM-BASIC supports a good number of protocols natively (SPI, I2C), and several quite specific protocols (TEMPR, HUMID, IRSEND)... and I was wondering whether SENT could be added?
As there are other readily available options for this particular sensor (PWM & analog) this is not really here-nor-there for this application. But I was thinking it could be a useful addition...
