Hi all, I've done a major rewrite on my procedural labyrinth roguelike. Switched to mode 8,12 so I can use page 1 as a shadow overlay rather than doing lighting calculations on every square. Faster code, and looks a lot nicer too. Also added some spot sound effects, and the combat mechanics (text only at the moment, turn based) is now fully working, with monsters of increasing difficulty appearing as you enter higher levels of the labyrinth. magic maps now working. combat needs balancing. proctiles.zip |
