Is there anyone who sells silk-screened front and back panels for the CMM2 in the standard enclosure? I got mine today and it looks so bare with plain black front and back panels. |

I laser printed them from the files in the construction pack and stuck them to the panels with double-sided tape then covered them in clear book-binding plastic. They are reasonable (but needed trimming on the edges as they were then too thick to fit into the slots in the case). Screen printed panels would have been ideal. If anyone decides to copy what I did, beware. The scaling of some of the artwork is wrong even when printed out 1:1. Measure the hardware first! I looked in the Construction Pack for Gen2 and I don't see any front or back panel files I could use to print them. Where did you get them? Here's what I have in my Gen 2 ZIP: |

Hi Tom, I can supply you a set of panels for a G1 cmm2. They are shown on page 3 of this document. Cmm2 brief I think you are in the US, if so I can offer them for $16AU (approximately $12US) including postage in a standard , non tracking, envelope. These typically take 2 weeks to arrive but recently they have taken nearly 3 weeks. PM me if you are interested. I think the green rear panel (which was a mistake when I ordered) actually looks quite good. I am happy to include a couple of photo masters if you want to try the photo quality ones as well. I just had a thought... T-shirt transfer paper. I wonder if that could be used to prettify the panels? Mick Zilog Inside! nascom.info for Nascom & Gemini Preliminary MMBasic docs & my PCB designs |
