Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

And here's me thinking I accomplished something setting up a motor and an alternator to make a generator.

This kid has more smarts in his toe nail that I would be capable of in my entire life!
Very depressing Video for the dumb people like me to watch.

That is amazing! I have to say though that his homemade lab looks more advanced than the labs of some tech companies I worked for.

I would love to make my own chip, but I'm just going to stick to FPGA. That just got a 100x less cool after seeing this video.

Great post!

I was watching another vid from the same gentleman on his electron scanning Microscope.
I was thinking I bet you could count on one hand the number of people in the world that have one one of those operational in their Garage. The Bloke is clearly a genius just by the fact he set it up, got it going and taught himself how to use it.

I'll bet Einstein's  garage looked something similar when he was this blokes age.

Definitely one exceptional young Fella!
