Cassowaries that is .......
Doesn't fly ....

After loading MMBasic ,
does not appear as serial
connection .....

RPi 4B , Buster , MiniCom

The setup is O.K. because
Qt Py 2040 works fine .

If it came with anything pre-loaded you may need to nuke it to clear the flash

Clear_flash.zip

Just load the attached then re-load MMBasic

All the variations on the Pico will only have been tested with MicroPython and/or ControlPython. Any support libraries for the additions will have been produced only for those. They are designed to be Python platforms.

Your setup is fine for Pico hardware but may not be for any of the variations on it. I'd suggest that you try with Tera Term under Windows 10 if at all possible as this is known to work well with all MMBasic installations.

It's very likely that future versions of the Pico hardware made by Raspberry Pi will remain compatible with the original though, as they have an interest in keeping them so.

Still on the ground though .
Looking at the literature ,
there is no more pre-loaded
than the Pico ?
( If I'm understanding it ) ?????

Thank You ....

I choose to only use Windows as a last resort .
I managed to get the QT Py to do what I wanted
of the Feather ( drive a Midi synth ) , so I ' m
good for now .
The Feather does have some appealing ' Wings ' ,
but I ' ll live without ( for now anyways )
