Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Hi,

Pico is very nice but we do not have wireless communication.
The Cytron Maker Board for example has a option for an ESP01 chip.
It will be so nice to have a wifi library for a standard ESP01.
And as all the IOT board use MQTT protocol.
MQTT support  will be the Nirvana.

Any code yet avalable ?

Best regards
Happy new years for all menbers

I feel the best way to implement this is to have MMBASIC support ESP8266 AT command firmware. Although it wasn't there some time ago (when I was experimenting with AT firmware) it looks like newer AT firmware supports MQTT.

Anyone else willing to help on this? I'd like to help make this a reality.

Miltel90's Pico PCB and my Pico PCB have options for an ESP-01 module. See PCBs at Pico on fruitoftheshed.

The MQTT AT command set looks interesting.

Thanks for these information.
That is very good news.

I order pieces today to try it.

Best regards
