What kind of PicoMite PCB: Mick's Backpack, Panky's Backpack, mine, VGA? See Add-on PCBs here

And if it's unbuilt, what would you do if "it's too delicate too do by hand with my skill level"?

I'd try again with JLCPCB--if you have a zip file of the gerbers (available for all of those), it's only a matter of a handful of clicks and then paying for it. Several of them would only cost about $6US for 5 with slow boat shipping.

Where in the U.S. are you? I'm in Florida at present, and may have a blank one of mine handy. What do you want to do with it?

Hi lizby Right now I just want to get the the base PicoMite Motherboard, I tried to upload the Gerber files in the PicoMiteVGA_Construction_Pack to JLB PCB and I didn't know what I was doing. I'm sure I can build it I just don't have the skill to etch one.

I'm in Dallas. but if any of the add on boards ever come up once I get my first PicoMite up and running I'M GAME TO BUY THEM TOO, I'm so Excited to Gert a pico mite going

There is no "base" PicoMite PCB--there are different variations. I got 5 of Peter Mather's Picomite VGA V1.3 PCBs, but don't expect to use them since I don't really have any use for VGA.

If you're interested, PM me your address and I'll mail you one.

Note: to get a PicoMite "up and running", all you need is a USB cable and the latest firmware (follow download instructions in manual). Connect using TeraTerm at 115200 baud, and you can start programming. If you solder on pin headers, you can attach simple devices (LEDs, buttons) with "Dupont" flying wires.

The way I interpret the OP is that he wants to build an actual RPi Pico from scratch(?)

No Craig I'm trying to build a boot to basic VGA toad to build a total boot to basic machine, when I blundered across the PicoMite and PicoMite VGA, it ticked all the boxes of the dream machine I wanted as a kid. and now that I can build a BASIC OS machine with GPIO Access I'm Giddy as a school Girl I've been playing around with it though a terminal, and want to build a stand alone machine

The board that lizby has shown above can fit a nice case, Rikard, if that's important. I think you have to sort out your own front & back panels though, as I don't think they ever got designed. Note that that board includes spaces for two expansion modules (but I don't know much about those).

My design is much smaller and fits a cheaper Chinese case, but it's just undergoing a bit of a design change at present and I've no PCBs available. It's basically the same as the above but without the expansion facility and with a completely different IO pinout.

Mixtel
this is the case I ordered from Hammond, and once I have 2 arms again (I just had Elbow replacement) I'll mill out the top to mount a keyboard and any ports. my other Mod on that case will be to add buss access, breadboard space and separate 3.3v-5v-12v power taps to do prototyping. My serious interests are in physical computing like running Stepper motors, real world sensors, and that sort of thing. Mixtel any time you design new boards put mr on the list I'm Game to buy one or 2 and as a Bonus Once I have one I can and will design 3d printable cases and CNC front Panels :)
