Before I get reacquainted with what I have Is there a better option? The limitations of this free package are not a problem for what I need but am I missing out? Cue: Mixtel90 Craig |

Hehe... That looks rather nice. I once tried a similar schematic package from RS, I think it was. Kicked it into touch because it wasn't flexible enough for what we needed. Great for "standard" systems, but not if you wanted something oddball. It was also heavily influenced by European draughting standards, not BS which a lot of our stuff used. At work I did everything in AutoCAD LT. Complete "standard" motor starters together with chunks of the control circuits were stored as blocks that fit on a standard grid. At home I use nanoCAD for mechanical stuff, TinyCAD for schematics and Sprint Layout 6 for PCBs. Of course, they won't talk to each other. :) Mick Zilog Inside! nascom.info for Nascom & Gemini Preliminary MMBasic docs & my PCB designs |
