I have a problem to understand what the resolution description for PULSIN in the manual means. It says "Measures the width of an input pulse from 1?s to 1 second with 0.1?s resolution".

If i measure a 1kHz pulstrain with a 50% duty cycle, i get 500/500 for high/low periods. Likewise for 10kHz i get 50/50. So this values are in uSec and follow quite accurate when i change the duty cycle or frequency. Resolution is thus IMHO 1 uSec, not 0.1 uSec.

But what does it mean to have 0.1 uSec resolution then? Changing datatype from integer to float makes no difference (which i expected somehow).

I'm running Beta 14 on a Pico.

Any clarification is appreciated.

Correct - manual needs updating - cut-and-paste from the CMM2
