I haven't gotten a spare VGA monitor yet, so I'm programming the PicoVGA with the USB connection.  Is it possible to continue to program from this connection with a VGA monitor attached directly to the PicoVGA as well?  It would allow me to continue to program from my desktop computer while displaying the graphics commands on the VGA monitor.

Is there some special commands I need to invoke to do this or just hook up a VGA monitor?

Thanks

You can connect via terminal of choice via computer & see the output on the VGA Monitor, this works.

In addition is there a way to keep MODE 1 applied to the USB connection while the VGA connection runs in MODE 2?

Thanks

Not that I know of. Sceen resolution for both is the same(lines and chars per line)
Only differences are
- serial terminal is text only
- serial terminal has colorcoding, vga only in mode 2

I made my life easier by programming
option f5 "mode 1:edit"+chr$(13)

in PicoMite(VGA) Version V5.07.05 there is an optional Edit parameter so if you type
EDIT 1
your editor (and Termina Window) will change to mode 1 for Editing.
