Hi. I flashed the new picomite firmware and and tera term worked with it-
so set up ili9341 and it got to calibrate gui and failed after 2 test positions.
so tried ssd1306
option reset
option system i2c gp8,gp9
option lcdpanel ssd1306i2c, L

This displays text ok but not circles or lines
says display not configured
tested with built in editor teraterm and mmedit
I'm doing something wrong, please advise.

There is definitely no issue with the ILI9341 check your wiring again

However, there is an issue with the I2C display as your report that makes absolutely no sense. Thanks for reporting. I'll try and find and fix

Found and fixed - will be in the next V5.07.07 beta

I had the same problem with the IL1931...

You cannot just touch the panel with the pen.. You have to PRESS and hold a second, then it works fine..

I new the panel was okay as I have a micromite set up as well, and that worked fine..

There must be a small delay on the picomite ADC module.

But once it works it is perfect in use.

I'd give my left arm to be ambidextrous

@matherp, thanks.
I used a picomite board with old hardware and ili9341 working, removed picomite, reflashed with latest hardware and replaced picomite on same display board but gui calibrate failed after 2 cursors to touch ie 3rd touch test point did not appear, tried 2 displays.
ssd1306 did work with old hardware. I had problems before but it was a duff display which I apologised for wasting peoples time but this display works because it displays text (and graphics on another board). What is my problem / is there a problem?.
