Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

just happened upon the following: https://www.eevblog.com/forum/projects/usb-sniffer-using-rp2040/ it uses just a PICO and a USB extension cable to monitor Full Speed and Low Speed traffic. looks like it could be useful in diagnosing issues with USB devices. there is also a link to a nice RP2040 PCB that brings out all 30 GPIO lines: https://github.com/ataradov/breakout-boards/tree/master/rp2040 cheers, rob :-) |

Yes, that looks like it could be useful if you are working with USB coding. I'm far to scared of USB technically speaking, so I leave that to others who know what they are doing, and stick to my old-school UART. Smoke makes things work. When the smoke gets out, it stops! |
