Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Hi RicM,

Forum member "thwill" has written a game controller interface in MMBasic.
It was tailored to the GAMEpicoVGA board, but uses common MMBasic instructions.
Contact him (PM), he may be able to help you.

On the GAMEpicoVGA board you can simply plug these controllers in.

On a different platform you probably can use the code, but have to wire the controllers yourself.

PicoGAME is designed to work with various switch-type joysticks and a game pad. There is info on them in the Construction pack for it. You can find that by following the link in my sig.

I wrote a test program for it, but I'm struggling to find it now. It tested both game ports and various joysticks, including the analogue inputs. This might be it
