(Oops Title should be MMB4W)

Mode 16 does not work properly for me in either of the two new versions with nothing coming up on the display. The keyboard does take some commands though.
Mode -16 & other modes appear OK.
The latest version plays havoc with my keyboard's auto repeat: it does not stop unless the keyboard is unplugged. Affects other programs as well.

The version from March 2022 (5.070306?) works fine.

Woks fine for me. Note though that mode 16 is 1920x1080 windowed and needs a screen bigger than 1920x1080. What happens with mode -16 ?

Mode -16 works OK. Mode 16 works OK for me on a 1920x1080 screen with the earlier versions.
The latest version is playing havoc with my keyboard. It either locks up or the auto repeat goes berserk.

Update

I tried the latest version on another W11 machine. Similar results with nothing on the screen in Mode 16. The keyboard seemed OK this time but the program crashed a few times while playing around.

I took a couple of screen shots to show the difference between the old & new versions.

The first screen shot below shows the display screen for the version a year or so ago. It has the standard 3 Windows buttons in the top RH corner & it sits snuggly into full screen & works well.

The second screen shot is from the latest version. It only shows the exit button in the top RH corner & does not sit snuggly into full screen as there is no button to click on to get it there. This does not work.

Something has changed in this area between the versions.
