I'm sure this has been covered before, but searching was hopless ( maybe I should fix that ). Long string on the PicoMite. I did find the C subroutines for longer string uploaded by matherp, but these didnt work on the Pico ( memory invalid address errors ). Is there an alternative or a library, or is it just a case of breaking a stream of string data into small chunks and processing them that way? Its for reading NMEA gps data, I need a bit more functionality than the built in GPS functions in PicoMite. Check the manual for the LONGSTRING commands and functions. The CSUBs you reference are all built-in as fully worked commands |

Hi Glenn, I may be misunderstanding the question but the PicoMite has LONGSTRING support built in (equivalent to the old C subroutines), RTFM as it were .Best wishes, Tom MMBasic for Linux, Game*Mite, CMM2 Welcome Tape, Creaky old text adventures |
