Now that I've got my hands on a shiny new 2nd Generation CMM2, I updated the cheat sheet I use for deciding which resolution I should write my games in. I thought that it might be useful to others as well - so here it is: ![]() On the whole, there seems to be just over twice as many pages available for each resolution in Gen 2 (compared with Gen 1), up to a maximum of 60. This opens up huge possibilities for pre-rendering graphics and creating some epic parallax scrolling. I am very excited. |

Ah-ha...good info I know next-to-nothing about the video capabilities but I saw your original table when I just started to look at the CMM2 and it didn't jibe with what little I knew about Gen 2. This makes sense now and looks pretty darned good. Many thanks |

No Biggie, Pete but I have been referencing this very useful chart But the 32bit should be 24bit. |

Thank you! I am very happy that you are finding it useful. I expanded it into a mini cheat sheet that I keep next to my CMM2 to remind me of the major syntax and keycodes that I need for programs. Reference Sheet.pdf |
