What level shifter is the best for using on the Picomite?

Hi Plasmamac,

Sparkfun breakout board TXS0108e or a simple BS170 mosfet.

Hi Plasmamac,

I use the 4 ch level shifter and the 8 ch in my designs.  





Note: The 8 ch is not a standard footprint.   The distance between the input and output is 435th.   Therefore a custom footprint is necessary.  But if you need lots of I/O, this does save some board space over using 2 of the 4 ch units.  The 8 ch units are available on eBay.
