Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Hi Jack,

thank you very much! Is this also for the Pico2 with SD card?
Unfortunately, I haven't gotten any further with my efforts to have the code compiled...

gadgetjack said  Had a friend compile this for me on Linux. It has full screen 640x480 so fills the monitor. Has the 208k memory also. I have not loaded it yet on my system but I trust my friend so here is a copy to try.
firmware.zip

Fine, now it runs in fullscreen
Thank you

Frank , sorry no. Still just the pico1. No one is having any luck with the pico2 and adding more memory yet. Still watching and will report if they do.

Frank , I just found a branch of the pico mac modded for pico2 and MORE memory!!!
It is set up for the murmulator circuit but it uses pico2 and over 400k memory!! His site has the wiring diagram and compiled code ready to load.

@Jack:

Oh, I actually prefer the Pico1, I was just afraid that you would need a Pico2 for it. I still have a few of the Pico1 lying around - only one or two of the Pico2 left...

Thanks for your link - that looks really interesting!

Where exactly do I connect the contacts for the SD card? I have noticed that the sample programs from the first image are no longer included in the last image

If you are including an SD card, the default pinout is as follows

GPIO/pin Pico pin Usage
GP2 4 SPI0 SCK
GP3 5 SPI0 TX (MOSI)
GP4 6 SPI0 RX (MISO)
GP5 7 SPI0 /CS
(The SD card needs a good ground, e.g. Pico pin 8 nearby, and 3.3V supply from Pico pin 36.)

Joes Computer Museum sells a small board with an optional micro SD card expansion https://jcm-1.com/product/picomicromac/

There are 3 links on the store page, shown in green. The second link (bluescs) has some useful demo programs and disk images you can use.
