Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

If i use a pi Pico which has a micro usb connector then the push button on the encoder connected to GP1 works fine but if I use the same code on a pi Pico with has a USB C connector it works fine until I push the button on the encoder and then it just freezes.

Any suggestions

Not enough information, I'm afraid.
Version of MMBasic?
What is the "Pi Pico" with a USB C connector? There aren't any, only clones.
How is the encoder connected?
Sample of the code you are using?
