Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Hi All

Prior to setting up my new desktop I had a Terminal emulator that I used instead of the
MMBasic provided MMCC.

I can't find it now no matter where I google.
It was suggested here on the forum and has a very short name something like "tio"

Searching on this forum didn't help either.

Any ideas ?

For Windows TeraTerm is most common, or Screen in iOS.

Search for "vt100 terminal emulator" and you will get plenty to choose from.

This one was particularly useful in Linux.

For the PC Terraterm is just about bombproof

Also Putty - (available for linux as well)

There are others but these two cover most requirements.

Could it be YAT? (YetAnotherTerminal)
I've used that a couple of times when I couldn't get Tera Term to do what I wanted. It's sort of a terminal rather than a terminal emulator.

Hi  All

Thanks for the suggestions, but I guess I am a creature of habit.
What's the point of swapping when you are happy with one.

But IF I can't find it I will have to.
It definitely started with a t and was about 4 char long, no more.
