In 2013 I inherited a model train and rails. Marklin, with an old (pre-DCC) speed controller in the locomotive. It was out wish to add a small railroad to the Christmas display of houses and scenery. But the heritage did not include a controller. And even then these first generation digital controllers where expensive second hand. So: build one myself based on an arduino library. As you can see there is plenty of room for the expansion (extra buttons to control digital accessories), but this never happened. Just some pictures of a 10 year old system, still working flawless every Christmas. Volhout ![]() ![]() ![]() PicomiteVGA PETSCII ROBOTS |
