Well this morning one of my mates had crash and here is the dash cam footage https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OkQvyHzzanc Now as I am taking my daughter over east on Sunday it is time I got up with the times and installed on in my car. ![]() Now not wanting to spend too much got this one https://www.navman.com.au/mivue170-safety?srsltid=AfmBOopIXWA65XH2HJ8r8NBsbmepe8gcesvhwv3kudi-DxkA6Ut_UYMu I was intending to go back over in my '96 C200 merc but as the aircon is playing up we will be taking my 2011 Forrester where this camera will installed. As we will be leaving home at 4am I'm sure there will be some good roo pic's as they decide whether to jump in front or not ![]() Every car I have owned has had roo damage and my Foz has been lucky so far. When my daughter Ellie read the spec's she said why isn't it front and back where I said turning behind and looking at mirrors is the old school way ![]() I got this unit for $149 after I got JBHI to knock $10 off and I did have a $20 gift card. So with my trip over east we will be leaving at 4am so I'm sure some good roo picks will be there to have which I will update them as time goes by. Regards Bryan |

I drive a lot on country roads through the German forest and have already had 5 wildlife accidents. Fortunately only with deer and not with wild boar - the car is usually a total loss. I would be delighted to see a picture of a kangaroo. We only have them at the zoo. I wish you an accident-free journey! |

Hate to be the police officer investigating that little bingle. The lines on the road are to blame, its not clear where the lanes are. Glenn The best time to plant a tree was twenty years ago, the second best time is right now. JAQ |

I can relate... pretty much my Victorian backyard a few years ago until 'the neighbours' moved in... I guess it's progress, but I do miss waking up to the Roos ambling around the house. (Had a couple on my back deck a few months ago, which was pretty cool!) There's some dangerous 'Wallies' out there... Since I've had my dashcam, I seem to notice then more (maybe just more 'often'?). I actually only got mine because the toolboxes on the ute cut off 95% of my view behind, so the rear camera is a blessing. The front camera is just a bonus ![]() John |

Great backyard with kangaroos and a view of the sea. It's enough to make you envious. It's snowing here at the moment. This is what my backyard actually looks like: ![]() |
