Happy Hols (is that generic enough (though generic might in itself might displease those who insist on specificity--you can't please everyone), from sunny Florida, where the only the only white Christmas we will get is from the white sand underfoot--even far inland. Brrrr.... I've just been outside. About 4°C but a 16mph (31mph gusts) wind is pulling the apparent temperature down to around -1°C. Not pleasant. No snow expected as it's too dry. Mick Zilog Inside! nascom.info for Nascom & Gemini Preliminary MMBasic docs & my PCB designs |

Geoff's side of Australia had a warm 40+ °C for Christmas and dangerous fires. Here, I can look out the window to see the snow on the hills. 1.5°C min overnight last night. At least the 50+kM/h wind has dropped so looking like a nice day for boxing day. I will be able to poke my head outside for a change. Ho Ho to all Jim VK7JH MMedit |

Yes, for us Christmas day was 41°C. It got a little cooler in the late afternoon, so we took an ice-cold bottle of wine down to the riverbank to watch the sunset. Mery Christmas everyone. Geoff Geoff Graham - http://geoffg.net |

I had thunder/lightning and heavy hail-storms for my Christmas afternoon. About 15°C for me. Such a contrast! It has warmed up today though, which is nice. My grass is at Jurassic Park height, so I have to get that cut!!! Can never get enough sunshine and warmth, to dry it out enough to cut it, so I might just have to do a wet cut, but it's messy - wet grass sticks to everything. ![]() Smoke makes things work. The Freemantle Doctor? Set maximum blade height, a little less messy. Then wait for a warm day to finish the job. Edited 2025-12-26 09:58 by phil99 |
