This is interesting:

Just look at the donations in December 2025!
$47,000 donated in December alone!!!

Note that donations to Linux Mint were up, right from about the time that W10 support ended, but it just skyrocketed in December!

Not a coincidence I don't think(although they did well in December 2024 too), and the SURGE in donations in December, proves that Mint has become VERY popular now in the wake of W11, and evidence that people really like it as an alternative to W11, and like it enough to put their money where their mouth is. There will be plenty more people using Mint, that don't donate to the cause.

I also donated in December because I am now in love with Linux Mint

, but the size of the donation bar is quite shocking - in a good way. I wonder if January's bar will beat December's one?

Not to trash those that like and use W11 - I have no beef with that. Whatever works for you.

I'm just saying that W11 doesn't work for ME any more, and the graph indicates that many others are feeling the same way, IMHO.

Smoke makes things work. When the smoke gets out, it stops!
