Sounds good, I'm curious... Here are a few RGB121 tiles for you to practise/test with. ![]() 'no comment |

Seems very interesting, I think. One question I have, regarding creating TILES files (PNG). Which Windows or Linux program can I use then? /Peter63 |

Actually, however, you can use whichever painting programme you are most comfortable with. I use windows Paint.NET for Painting, for Linux, Pinta is comparable. and some little, selfmade Tools in mmbasic4W to convert them to RGB121. Edited 2026-03-10 02:00 by Martin H. 'no comment |

Peter, with your efforts you are greatly promoting the gaming capabilities of PicoMite, perhaps soon we will approach the gaming capabilities of TIC-80. https://tic80.com/ By the way, one step forward could be to promote support for MMBASIC in the TIC-80 system. I know that the developers are willing to add programming languages desired by users to the project. Edited 2026-03-10 03:07 by javavi |

For pixel art, I usually used GraphicsGale for Windows. It's free. https://graphicsgale.com/us/ For the last few years, I've switched to Aseprite. It's a paid program and is available for both Linux and Windows. It's on Steam and sometimes they have it very cheap. Aseprite is much easier to use. Edited 2026-03-10 04:01 by Fede |
