Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

I have been trying to get on Geoff's website for several days and it is not responding.  I have tried several browsers with and without firewalls but still nothing. Is it my problem or has something changed?
I am trying to build another car tracker that Geoff rpoduced. It is a legacy PIC32 project pre-MMB on the website - but a fabulous project that I have been using for years without any problem and a great way to keep track on journeys.

chuckallisonusa - thanks for the suggestion but that is not the solution.

I have discovered that there is a problem with my ISP (Gigaclear fibre) just with Geoff's site. I have connected to it successfully using my snail ISP and it works.
The problem must be something to do with the Gigaclear DNS possibly just for one site as all other sites work OK. I was very surprised as I been using Geoff's site for years without problems. I will try to contact Gigaclear but whether they will bother to investigate I am not sure.

FYI, I've had Geoff's Tracker installed since since mid 2015. It got removed recently because I managed to put a small dent in the front LHS of my vehicle & wrote it off.

It got neglected a bit in its latter life due to other GPS devices being used. I did check every now & then to see if the LEDs were lit/flashing. Last recorded track Mar, 20, 2026.

Bit of fun going through some of the tracks now.

No room (nor the inclination) to install it in my other car.

Yes it is a great device. It chip inside even took 12V briefly back in it's early days but that is another storey.

Thanks Geoff.
