Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Dear fellow, a most distressing diagnosis indeed.  You have, however, some of the world's best clinicians and medical technologists there in Germany.  I do wish you a successful journey through the challenging times of your medical treatment, as will everyone who reads your posts on this forum.  We wish you well.

I hope it's benign or at least curable.

Hugs.

Plasmamac, please do one thing before undergoing any treatment; go see some other doctor/specialist who DOESN'T have access to your medical records.

Don't mention the big 'C'

Long story short, my friend is alive and well today because of this.

Plasma,
Getting the initial diagnosis is hard.
You have a long journey ahead and I wish all the best.

Everyone's journey is different but you are not alone, except the times when you want to be.

I find treating the big "C" like a technical project helps me understand it without getting too worried about the personal side of things.

Best wishes from Tasmania.

Oh, that's very sad news! Hopefully, the CT scan detected the cancer at an early stage and there's an effective treatment available? We can only keep our fingers crossed for you and wish you all the best!

All the best for you from a hospital bed here in Vienna. Just had a coronar angiograpgy (1 hour ago) to prevent a 3rd heart attack, which could be my last. The good thing about it for me is that we have a lot of therapies for so many medical problems nowadays. I personally do not whish to live in the good old times.

Keeping my fingers crossed
