I have recently received a Picocalc and would like to know what the most up-to-date version I can put on it And How to configure it. I have both Pico 2 and Pico 2Ws. I'd like to start experimenting with it. And I'm certainly not interested in the 7 month old. Firmware That clockworkPi has on their repos. I'm also having a problem with. Searching on this site. And my PMs seems not to be working. So knowing that. I'd appreciate anyone who could give me some guidance on the best firmware to work with the PicoCalc and how to configure it. Thank you.

Make sure you update the BIOS to 1.6 then any of the versions of the firmware mentioned in the manual page 11 should work

Should I take the one from the Project page or should I use the most recent betas. I have settled on the Pico 2 as the core.

How can I tell what BIOS is installed?

OK. Maybe I'm being obtuse. I just need a link. Can you give me a link? Is it the Version on Joffrey's website or the most recent release in the forums? And if it is the most recent Form release. Could you give me a link? I am not having much luck at all searching this website. The search system Doesn't work for me. I might add, I'm dyslexic as hell. I need Here's the file you'd need use this firmware in the zip.

The command on p111 is Print MM.INFO(BIOS)

It was 1.6

Thans. I did choose that one and it seems OK. Of course, there are a number of demos that don't work because of the limitation of the screen RES, but it worked pretty well I've got to relearn a few things because I've been Out of a Sorts for a while, so I'm gonna start playing and reading the manuals. Thank you for your Helping I seem to have Been editing some of the demos that are. In my library successfully. Maybe we could start a new topic of converting demos and other Conversions of Demos and other Programs that have been created on the forum So they Run on the Picocalc. I have forgotten most everything on this, so uh, it's a new rediscovery. Thanks. I having try to Have a good day.
