Here is the tutorial/article. I like how mikroElektronika behaves these days. They have almost every weekend very tempting offers regarding to their boards and compilers. And once you buy a compiler, you have a life time license and this is great.

They have very nice StartUSB for PIC and AVR microcontrollers boards:
- StartUSB for PIC
- StartUSB for AVR
And with their compilers/languages is easy to program for both families of microcontrollers.
