ok fine i guess its a way of connectting a printer to certain pins on the maxi but softwhare wont do it alone u need to be able to con figure the hard whare to match this with ...look ..i can connect just about any thing i want to the maxi but to get it to communicate is a whole bottle of fish in a fish bowel ..regards spoarkey
technicians do it with least resistance

12C is a type of serial communications format similar to "1-Wire" which allows you to interface with a whole lot of addressable devices like very accurate (0.25C) digital temperature sensors, EEPROM, RTC etc all over the same pair of wires.

If you don't know the terms I'm using then GOOGLE them starting with Interfacing 12C
