Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

OK, I know it's not designed to have the VGA and keyboard, but... Can a keyboard and VGA be connected the Maximite-EV-SMD?
Just thinking of the Maximite on a keyboard project I want to do.

Not in its current format. I see a future version having this, but for now, it is a matter of getting a smaller board, and more cost effective version, onto the market.

I don't know if the pins are accessible even as a hardware hack, as I didn't design this board. I guess this info will eventually fall out with the number of researchers we have on this Forum.

Did I say researchers?

I haven't got any of that, in fact I only saw pictures of the board for the first time, last night??

But I will chase it up and post it on my web page when it is available.

Schematics for Maximite products from tctech are now posted at:

http://www.themaximitecomputer.com/max/Programs/Hardware/tct ech/

However if you enter via:
http://www.themaximitecomputer.com/max/Programs/

Then it will be presented in a much nicer format.

I am still chasing up if one of these is correct for the EV version.

Hi Don,
Thanks for the schematic, we can add a VGA and keyboard to the Maximite EV!
I'm still trying to find a keyboard that has the extra space in it to add the Maximite into it..

Yes, at least it has some solder pads. I looked specifically as I know you were chasing that feature.
