I ordered my Maximite kit from Semtronics (they are in Nunawading Vic & are a reseller for Altronics) last week & purchased it from them this morning.
I was pleasently surprised to be charged $77 (including GST).
Whereas the latest Altronics catalogue has them listed for $89.95
I believe they will do mail orders.

They are a small company & don't have the manpower to maintain a proper website, but their prices for electronic components, etc. are usually much better than the 2 well known outlets.

len if you dont already have copies of silicon chip mags "march april may and nov 2011 " i do sugest accquireing them also all the latest firm ware and usb drivers and other stuff is a vail on geoffs website just click on"geoffg" when you see it ...listed there will be a link there to his site... ...."maximite computer...downloads are at the bottom of the page...also if your looking for the female or male pin jumper leads go to "dontronics he has these connector leads also check out hamfield web site Edited by sparkey 2011-11-11technicians do it with least resistance

Yes, I have the SC mags, I subscribe to SC.
I had a brief look at the geoffg site but have not looked at Don's yet.
