Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Well done Nick!
I had some time this Saturday and add labels so it runs on DuinoMite also.
Had to fix the PRINT scrolling as your last row overlap and didn't display correctly.
Works nice with Nunchuk + MOD-Wii connected tn UEXT.

Nick,
I am just checking some of the programs in the MMBasic Library against v4 beta on my original (B&W) MM and have found an error in MAXMAN.BAS.

Line 151 gives an "Incorrect expression syntax" error.

Font#2:Print@(110,192,2)"GAME OVER":Pause 5000"":status=0:sound 100,100

Send the fix (replacement line or program) to me at mmlib@geoffg.net and I will update the library.

Cheers,
Hugh

Hi Hugh,

The double "" after PAUSE 5000 looks out of place and shouldnt be there.

Regards,

Mick

Yes, as Mick described, the double quotation marks is the problem. Remove this and all is well.

These were not there before. I had no problem with previous versions of the firmware.

I upgraded to the version 4.0 and then this happened to that line.

Simple fix but strange how version 4.0 altered something that may have been a typo before and was ignored and becomes a problem now.

So everyone... edit out the double quotes from line 151 when you upgrade to firmware 4.

I'll wait for the final v4 and the colour Maximite before I release an official update to Maxman just in case there are other quirks found.
