Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Hi All

I am new to this so looking for some help.

I have a duinomite standard board which came with ver 2.7 of the firmware, I have also downloaded tera term, upgraded the driver as described and all was well until I upgraded to ver 3.2c of the firmware.

Now my windows 7 on my pc and vista on my laptop does not want to recognize the driver to allow tera term to see the board.

Anyone have any idea what the problem is?

Hi Len, this means basically you just turned the DuinoMite into a MaxiMite, so you need the MaxiMite serial drivers.

see:
http://www.duinomite.com/duinomite-firmware-update-guide/
for a step by step rundown on how to go about this procedure, however I am sure all the information will be available from Geoff's page at:
http://geoffg.net/maximite.html

Good luck with it.

Thanks Don,

I have installed the firmware (DM-1-4-2012d.hex) and installed drivers, I can now use tera term again.

Cannot switch to drive b: is this normal? Edit, ignore this, found out how to do it.

I also have the olimex mod rtc, where can i find how to use this, lots to learn.

If you are using the DM firmware, then the RTC should fire up when you get into "setup" and set the parameters correctly.
